You are Mandus, a wealthy businessman who awakens to find himself in an enclosed bed in the middle of the night and begins to search for his missing children. ![]() They limited interaction with objects, something that made the Dark Descent amusing Reason for further descent into the machine becomes borderline silly Not as many gruesome imagery and sometime comical situations The campaign is much more visibly linear compared to the false sense of choice given in the Dark Descent Several awe inspiring moments (such as viewing the machine and the climb up the temple)Ī much shorter game than the Dark Descent (3+ hours) The story is clearer and cleaner (you'll actually understand whats going on most of the time) is much more advanced as they will actually sniff you out of a hidey hole if they get close enough Extremely detailed environments when run on any setting really
